Alexandre ALEXANDROVSKY (Russian, born in 1951)

Alexandre ALEXANDROVSKY was born in 1951 in the city of Pushkin, a suburb of St. Petersburg. Alexandrovsky began to study painting in 1970 with Vladimir Stetsenko. The painting style of Alexandrovsky was influenced by Konstantin KOROVIN (1861 - 1939) and Eduard MANET (1832 - 1883). In 1983, Alexander ALEXANDROVSKY entered the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. I.E. Repin. In 1989, he defended his diploma, and the thesis “Into Civil” was recognized as one of the best on the course. Since 1996, ALEXANDROVSKY is a member of the Union of Artists of Russia. The artist works in different genres: landscape, still life, portraiture and genre painting. Solo exhibitions of Alexander took place in many countries around the world, in 1989. The artist is a regular participant in the project “In the holy places of Russia” and a member of the art group of the Union of Artists of Russia called “The Enchanted Wanderer”.
