Geo DORIVAL, whose real name is Justin Marie Georges DORIVAL, born November 5, 1879 in Paris and died March 22, 1968 in Louveciennes, is a French poster designer, illustrator and painter. He studied at the École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs in Paris. In 1917 he married Marie-Thérèse CHANTEL, daughter of Charles CHANTEL, director of "L'Art et la Mode", a magazine in which he regularly collaborates, and of which he will become director. He also illustrates the magazine "Les Dessous élégants" and the magazine "Nos loisirs".
