Agence France-Presse (AFP) is an international news agency headquartered in Paris, France. Founded in 1835 as Havas, it is the world's oldest news agency. Since 1944, it has provided comprehensive coverage of world news, in all fields and in all its forms: photography, computer graphics, video and text in six languages.
