Armand ASSUS was a french peinter, born on 4 avril, 1892 in Alger. Armand is a son of famous algerian cartoonist Salomon ASSUS (1850-1919). After studying at the Lycée d'Alger, he entered the School of Fine Arts in Algeria in 1904. In 1912 he moved to Paris to study at the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts. He died on 28 juin, 1977 in Antibes.
