The "House of Tin" is a former La Manche museum, located in Villedieu-les-Poêles. Created in 1989, it traces the history of pewter in the Channel and offers to discover the way of working it. We can see in particular the collection of pewter by Jules BRATEAU. It welcomes up to 17,000 tourists per year before closing in 2013 for lack of profitability, according to its owner Étienne DULIN.
