Rampa i zhizn [Рампа и жизнь; Footlights and Life], a theater illustrated magazine published weekly in Moscow from 1909 till 1918 by Leonid MUNSHTEIN (1866 - 1947), Russian feuilletonist, playwright and editor known in theater circles under the nickname of "Lolo". One of the most important periodicals concerning esthetics and everyday life of Russian theater. The magazine provided extensive information about St. Petersburg, Moscow and provincial theaters, published detailed reviews, articles on theatrical activities and related arts, essays, stories, poems and epigrams and was always well illustrated.
