Vida INSODIENĖ (Lithuanian, b. 1960)

Vida Leonavičiūtė - Insodienė graduated from Vilnius Acadamy of Arts where studied graphic art and created a lot of graphic works and book illustrations. Since 1988 Vida creates costumes for theatre. She has designed several dozens of costumes for well-known Lithuanian ballet dancers Loreta Bartusevičiūtė, Petras Skirmantas, Jonas Katakinas, Neli Beredina, who represented the art of Lithuanian ballet during the '90s in European countries, Russia, Venezuela, Japan and the USA. She also designed costumes for contemporary stars of Lithuanian ballet: Eglė Špokaitė, Rūta Jezerskytė, Mindaugas Baužys, Jurgita Dronina, who won awards at various international ballet contests. Vida also designed costumes for TV ballets, ballets staged by Jurijus Smoriginas, ballet performances in Lithuanian Opera and Ballet Theatre, Vilnius, Kaunas State Musical Theatre and Klaipėda State Musical Theatre and scenic costumes for opera singers (Gintarė Skėrytė and etc.). Since 1988 Vida takes part in international fashion festivals "In Vogue", "Days of Fashion". Also, she arranged two her personal fashion shows in 2000 and 2006. Founder of „V.
