KUNERT (German, founded 1907)
KUNERT is a German brand specialized in socks and tights production. It was founded by Maria KUNERT in 1907 and reserved for female outfits. During the 1930's, KUNERT produced "Elite" thighs, best-selling stockings in Europe, and became the biggest hosiery industry in Europe. The use of natural silk promote a luxurian line, and the brand developped the "chinchillan" yarn: elastic, transparent and shiny.
In 1981 a new factory was settled in Tetouan (Morroco). In 1991 the brand registered its highest turnover. In 2014, KUNERT launched its exclusive line for men.
