House of Harvé Benard (American, 1967 - 2011)
American clothing brand established by brothers Bernard and Morton HOLTZMAN in 1967. At the beginning, the brand was known for high quality and modern designs that were intended for corporate working women in the Americas. Harvé Benard labels could be found in many mid-range department stores, like Macy's, and in catalogs. The brand primarily focused on staple suits for women but also offered seasonal collections that included coats, dresses, outerwear and suits for both women and men, with tuxedos, blazers and ties offered specifically for men. In 2006, the brand was bought by Wellington Capital Group for $12million.
