Born in 1942 and raised in Treviso, Mario Borsato from an early age showed himself attentive to fashion and haute couture, following in his father's footsteps. He has deepened his studies of fashion and design in the symbolic city of Milan. Once back in his native city, Treviso, he began a professional path that led him to create in 1968 the first sophisticated Mario Borsato Couture collection intended for women of great style and charm, with a strong sense of luxury and exclusivity. It was 1974 when he opened the boutique in via Manin, starting to enter the wardrobes of the wealthy ladies of the city. The main sources of inspiration for the couturier were the great innovative geniuses of modern couture, Yves Saint Laurent, Dior and Chanel.
