Jocelli (Italian, c. 1960s-2000)
Jocelli was likely a private label or a specialized Italian contractor high-end shoe brand in 1960s-1980s. It was part of the post-WWII boom of Italian artisanal workshops that exported high-quality leather goods to North American luxury boutiques. The brand was heavily associated with Ingledew’s, the Canadian luxury footwear chain. Ingledew’s closed all its physical storefronts in 2017, which effectively ended the primary distribution channel for Jocelli-branded footwear. By the late 1990s and early 2000s, new Jocelli products had largely vanished from major retail shelves.
