Helene KRÖGER was a German painter born in Hamburg in 1883, where she lived and worked for most of her life. She later died in Neustadt in Holstein in 1969. She is known for her landscapes and still lifes, often depicting forests, tree-lined paths and winter scenes. Kröger worked in oil and watercolor, and also produced graphic works such as etchings.
