House of Philippe Venet was founded by Philippe VENET in 1962 after 9 years of work for Hubert GIVENCHY. The House became known for his tailored coats built on geometric silhouettes, triangular kite-coats and kimono cut coats. He designed costumes for the film "In the French Style" in 1963. His house closed in 1996, when he was 67 years old. However the house of Venet still markets perfumes sold in his name.
