Eugène RUBIN (1906 Kiev-2001 Paris) the Russian/ French photographer.
In 1927 he leaves Moscow for Berlin with his family. In 1935 he moved to Paris and started fashion photography. In 1946 he works with Baron, in his studio in London.
During those years he worked with several fashion designers: Hermès, Worth, Marie-Rose Lebigot, Jean Patou, Jacques Griffe, Jacques Fath, Balenciaga, Carven , Schiaparelli, Lucien Lelong, Christian Dior, ...
In 1959 he abandons photography and opens an art gallery in Paris.
In 1997 he becomes correspondent of the European Herald, monthly published in English.
