Watercolour painting portrait of a noble middle aged lady represented in a navy home dress, wearing a lace bonnet on her head and a matching fichu collar on the neck. This artwork is a 1830s reproduction of an original oil on canvas painting portrait created in 1811 by Friedrich KÜHNEL (1766 - 1841)

Irina (Arina) Ivanovna BEKETOVA, nee MYASNIKOVA (1743 - 1823) was the owner of the Epiphany and Simsk ironwork factories inherited from her father. Daughter of the Ural merchant-mining breeder, collegiate assessor Ivan Semenovich MYASNIKOV, married to Colonel Pyotr BEKETOV, she was famous for her mercy.
