The costume was created for Phosphorus caracter (morning star), played by S. P. HESSEL (also known as S.P. SERGEEV) [С. П. Гессель / С. П. Сергеев] in "Daphne, persecuted by the love Apollo into a laurel tree" [Дафнис , гонением любовного Аполлона в древо лявровое превращенная] theatrical play by Society of Art and Literature [Общество искусства и литературы] in 1903 under the direction of Sergey SHAMBINAGO and N.N. ARBATOV.
