Description
A catalogue of the English domestic embroidery between 16 - 17 century conserved at the Victoria and Albert Museum (Great Britain) Department of textiles as of the 1938. The catalogue is created by museum curator John L. NEVINSON and published under the authority of the Board of Education. The book contains 108 pages with 2 additional cover pages. It contains also one cover page with a multicolor photo and 72 plates with black and white photos of the objects.  The catalogue is divided into 2 parts: embroidery for furnishing and embroidery for cutume.
