Description
Rectangular small snuff box in silver mounted enamelled copper with a hand painted in grisaille scene of a loving couple on the lid, a woman sitting under a tree and a man standing in front of her, leaning for a kiss. The scene is surrounded with a green leaf frame with red flowers. The sides are also painted in black grisaille technique with scenes of German towns in floral wreath frames on a white background.
