Round miniature box in clear elm wood, containing on one of its inner sides the portrait of a man surrounded by a black silk string and protected under glass. He is wearing a white bowie and a blue coat with a yellow waistcoat under it, embroidered with blue, white, red hyphens in the colours of the French flag after the Revolution of 1789. His hairstyle is said to be of dog ears. The background is pale blue, misty and dotted with flowers.Materials
