Watercolour painting portrait of a young woman represented on a white background graduated with blue on the bottom, wearing a black long sleeved dress, buttoned on the front, with a short white collar tied with a wide ribbon with two navy stripes, and pinned in the center with a brooch with red stone. There is a silver chain on the bottom of the bodice, over the skirt, probably for a pocket watch or a chatelaine. Her hair is in updo style, separated in the center and flattened on the sides.Materials
