Square silk perfume kerchief from the house of Dior. It has beige borders framing a bright orange rectangle. The outline of a bottle of perfume entitled "Dune" is drawn in the center. The feminine perfume "Dune", which will be followed by "Dune" for men six years later, was first marketed in 1991 in a round and full amphora shaped innovative bottle of semi transparent amber colour.Donation from the ERDOTEX group, European leader in the revaluation of used textiles, as a part of a partnership in the selection by Alexandre Vassiliev Foundation of the most emblematic pieces, in order to illustrate the history of fashion and to look at these pieces from the angle of Art work.
Such type of a kerchief was sold or given with a perfume, and was intended to be worn on the wrist, inspired by Mitzah BRICARD, muse of Christian DIOR. She wore a small leopard print silk scarf as an accessory on the wrist, which was hiding her mystery secret - a scar.
