Paper photograph depicting a model wearing a Pierre BALMAIN creation "BLOODY MARY" for the autumn-winter 1961-62 collection. The "Pythagorean" regularity line defines this new collection and less than ever, sacrifice to the effect. Using fabric slantingly allows to surround the body and determine the "tube" shape.Creation "BLOODY MARY" consisting of a long evening dress in cherry velvet with bright belt made of the same colour velvet and red faille. A feather boa in same colour completes the gown. The model is wearing a pair of long gloves.
