Description
Black silk dress with a tiered skirt and trimmed with ribbons.

Aftermath of the conflict, women began to claim their new rights acquired between 1914-18, particularly in the economy or the voting rights. However, the human toll is heavy, the new woman is first a widow, her emancipation is held back by the social obligation of mourning.
