Donation from the ERDOTEX group, European leader in the revaluation of used textiles, as a part of a partnership in the selection by Alexandre Vassiliev Foundation of the most emblematic pieces, in order to illustrate the history of fashion and to look at these pieces from the angle of Art work.

Helanca is a highly elastic, textured  polyamide filament yarn. It is manufactured using a process developed in 1931 by Rudolph H. KAGI, an American with a Swiss name, and originally applied to viscose fibers. The Swiss company Heberlein & Co acquired the rights to the process from KAGI, patented it and developed it further until it was ready for production. It has been produced by Heberlein & Co. in Switzerland since 1932.
