Description
Tall curved belt buckle decorated in cloisonné enamelled, engraved and chiseled brass on a copper and curved downward plaque. The navy blue and white enamel depicts vegetal motifs on the frame.
The attachment system in copper consists on a central motional bar with four barbs and a four spikes chape.

Huge belt buckles of the Louis-Philippe reign became the perfect support for polychrome enamel work.
