Description
French magazine "Le Théâtre", November 1st, 1913, n°357. The total number of pages is 26.

The cover has a colored photograph of the French actress Catherine FONTENEY in her role of Ida RUBINSTEIN. The article "Mademoiselle Catherine FONTENEY" recounts the career of Catherine FONTENEY, theatre actress of the first half of the 20th century.  She played minor roles, then tried to get comic parts without great success and played mostly "coquettes" roles. Two pictures of Catherine FONTENEY's roles in En Douce !... by Paul ARDOT and Jean BASTIA, illustrate the article. One is the photography of the servant, the other one is the part of Ida RUBINSTEIN, a famous Russian ballet dancer. The last one is used as a reference for the front page, which representes FONTENEY as a spoofing actress, impersonating RUBINSTEIN dancing in an oriental-style costume.
