The article "Mademoiselle Catherine FONTENEY" recounts the career of Catherine FONTENEY, theatre actress of the first half of the 20th century. She played minor roles, then tried to get comic parts without great success and played mostly "coquettes" roles. Two pictures of Catherine FONTENEY's roles in En Douce !... by Paul ARDOT and Jean BASTIA, illustrate the article. One is the photography of the servant, the other one is the part of Ida RUBINSTEIN, a famous Russian ballet dancer.
