Description
Supplement of the fashion magazine Vogue, for the month of February 1949, entitled "Trente créateurs de la mode Parisienne" (Thirty Creators of Parisian Fashion). The booklet presenting 33 Parisian fashion personalities mosly fashion designers, milliners and perfumers, through 30 drawings, spread over 28 pages + 2 pages of interlayer and a semi-rigid green cover, the whole is bound by a brown silk cord .The drawings were executed by Carl ERICKSON, better known as Eric and depicts:
- Pierre Balmain (1914-1982) is a French couturier who founded his house in 1946.
- Véra Boréa, whose real name is Countess Borea de Buzzaccarini Regoli, is a French couturier, having founded her house in 1931.
- Marie-Louise Bruyère (1884-after 1959) is a French couturier, having founded her house in 1928 whose activity ceased in the 1950s.
- Madame Carven (1909-2015), whose real name is Carmen de Tommaso, is a French couturier, having founded her house in 1945, from which she retired in 1993.
- Marcelle Chaumont (1891-1990) is a French couturier, having founded her house in 1939, from which she retired in 1953.
- Jean Dessès (1904-1970), whose real name is Jean Dimitre Verginie, is a French couturier, having founded his couture salon in 1937.
- Christian Dior (1905-1957) is a French couturier and parfumer, having founded his house on October 8, 1946.
- Jacques Griffe (1909-1996) is a French couturier, having founded his house in 1941, which closed in 1968.
- Jacques Heim (1899-1967) is a French couturier, having founded his house in 1930, which closed in 1969.
- Jeanne Lafaurie (1897-1983) was a French couturier, having founded her main house in 1928, which closed in 1957.
- Lucile Manguin is a French couturier, having founded her house in 1938, which closed in 1956.
- Madeleine Maltezos (1900-1985) and Suzie Carpentier are two French couturiers, having founded their house "Mad Carpentier" in 1939, which closed in 1957.
- Captain Molyneux (1891-1974), whose real name is Edward Molyneux, is a couturier and perfumer of British origin, having founded his house in 1919.
- Charles Montaigne (1900-?), whose real name is Martin Meuwese, is a couturier of Dutch origin, having founded his house in 1939.
- Jean Patou (1880-1936) is a French couturier and perfumer, having founded his house in 1914.
- Raphaël, whose real name is Rafael Lopez Cebrian, is a couturier of Spanish origin, having founded his house in 1924, which closed at the end of the 1950s.
- Madeleine de Rauch (1896-1985), whose real name is Madeleine-Marie-Antoinette Bourgeois, is a French couturier, having founded her house in 1932, which closed in 1974.
- Nina Ricci (1883-1970), whose real name is Maria Adélaïde Nieilli, is a Franco-Italian couturier, having founded her house in 1932.
- Marcel Rochas (1902-1955) is a French couturier and perfumer, having founded his house in 1925.
- Maggy Rouff (1896-1971), whose real name is Marguerite de Wagner, is a French couturier, having founded her house in 1929, which closed in 1965.
- Elsa Schiaparelli (1890-1973) is a couturier of Italian origin, having founded her house in 1927.
- Madame Legroux is a French milliner, at the head of the house "Legroux Soeurs" founded in 1913 by her aunts, Germaine and Héloïse Legroux.
- Madame Paulette (1900-1984), whose real name is Pauline Adam de la Bruyère, is a French milliner, having founded her house in 1921, which closed in 1984.

- Mademoiselle Georgette and Madame Germaine represent the Florence house. Mademoiselle Georgette is a French milliner, whose house is active from the 1920s to at least 1949. Germaine Lecomte (1889-1966) is a couturier, having founded her house in the 1920s, which closed in 1957.
- Madame Suzy is a French milliner, whose house is active from the 1920s to at least 1949.
- Monsieur and Madame Gilbert Orcel are French milliners, having founded their house in 1938, which closed in 1972.
- Monsieur Albouy (1912-1985) is a French milliner, having founded his house in 1938, which closed in 1964.
