Fan with leaf made of paper and 16 ivory sticks, inlaid with silver inserts forming flowers. The leaf is hand painted with gouache representing a scene of a couple having a drink by the water. The young ladie wearing pink and blue gowns she next to a man dressed in an orange suit, both sitting on the ground. On the background a spinner watches them. A other woman sinsing are wearing a blue and yellow dress. The scene is presented in a bucolic landscape in which we can see a castle in the background and the remains of columns on the side. On the back a scene with a remains of columns in a middle of a island in a rustic landscape.The frame of the fan dates from the mid-1760s while the leaf, later, dates from the end of the decade.
