Description
Set of two handmade embroideries featuring geometric motifs in Egyptian stlye. Both are crafted with long and short glass beads and metallic threads on a black tulle base. Each embroidery sheet features two triangular motifs, a wedge motif, a geometric linear motif, and small concentric floral dots. One embroidery is primarily red, green, white and blue; the other is primarily blue, green, and white.

Inspired by the discovery of Tutankhamun’s tomb in 1922, these embroideries were often used to decorate clothing or accessories during the Art Deco period.
