Beauty spot box in black lacquered tortoiseshell inlayed with gold and decorated with a miniature on ivory representing a landscape with an deep effect thanks to the reverse glass painting with a vase. Under the vase there is a inscription "Sincere et pur" that refers to love. The tiny box opens on two compartments and has a mercury miror on the back of the lid.Materials
