Description
White Victorian cameo brooch made of composit immitation shell with a tube hinge "C" clasp closure. The cameo depicts the side profile of a Minerva clothed in a robe wearing a Corinthian helmut and holding a spear. The bezel consists of a twisted metal wire sottered to the metal that wraps the edges of the cameo.Minerva or Athena was the Greek godess of wisdom, strategic warfare, and crafts. She was often depicted wearing the Corinthian helmet and holding a spear.
