Description
Portrait of a young girl in a green Regency era dress with a high empire waistline, accentuated by a black belt with a gilded buckle. The dress with open shoulders has short sleeves, consisting of three ruffles, and a deep V-neckline, infilled with a white batiste shirring at the center front. The girl is engaged in the drawing of an antique statue, her wrists are decorated with two Egyptian style bracelets, that inspired by the Napoleonic Egyptian war, her hair is straight parted with tight curls that frame her face and fall on her neck.Materials
