Description
A single-breasted, hot pink Panama weave wool ladies' jacket with wide, topstitched lapels, straight sleeves with topstitched turn-ups; waist fitted and fastened with one large black plastic button, has two false flapped pockets at the foreparts and one chest welt pocket with leaflet; lined with matching viscose silk.

The YSL Variation line was a high-end diffusion label (more accessible than Rive Gauche or Haute Couture lines), it was launched between 1982-1984 and was eventually phased out around 2000. The very similar hot pink and fuchsia garments have been identified in its 1986–1990 collections.
