Description
Pearled decorative collar composed of ivory satin polyester, shaped in a rounded horseshoe form with softly scalloped edges. The entire outline is trimmed with champagne-toned pearl beads, creating a raised border around both the inner neckline and outer edge. The surface is fully embellished with pearl and glass-bead decoration. Small pearl beads are scattered across the ivory ground, forming a regular dotted ornament. Over this, a scrolling vegetal motif is worked in transparent grey rectangular beads, curving across the collar in a continuous sinuous line. At intervals along this beaded vine are small pearl flowers, each composed of one larger central pearl surrounded by five smaller pearl beads. The reverse is covered with ivory satin fabric. At the ends, a metal hook and corresponding metal ring are attached, allowing the collar to be fastened around the neckline.
