Shoe display sample

One shoe display sample created from a wooden model of a heeled shoe, covered with fabric in order to reproduce in miniature a design sold in the boutique.

 The shoe is made of blue satin silk and features a classic pointed toe richly decorated with ornamental incrustations. The decoration is composed of floral motifs formed by glass beads and cabochons, each flower centred by a cabochon surrounded by beadwork petals. Near the edge of the pointed toe, the ornament continues into linked chain-like motifs repeating the cabochon pattern, with two leaf-shaped pendants descending from the centre and composed of glass beads. The heel has a slightly conical form, widening near the back of the shoe and gradually narrowing toward the ground. The shoe is finished with a silk strap closure leaving the heel exposed.
