Description
Bonnet hat composed of black velvet, multicoloured woven straw braid, green and red braided cord, and a velvet mesh floral ornament. The bonnet is formed in a gently curved crescent silhouette, characteristic of a half-toque style, and is reinforced with an internal wire framework and mesh hairnet foundation. The crown is woven from multicoloured straw braid interlaced with coloured cord, arranged in a spiral composition radiating outward from a central petal-like motif. The interior of the brim is lined with black velvet and mesh, while the outer edge is finished with a scalloped border of green and red braided cord. One side of the bonnet is ornamented with an applied black velvet flower, balanced by a delicate velvet mesh floral embellishment on the opposite side. The rear edges are fitted with black velvet ribbons intended to be tied beneath the chin, securing the bonnet in place.Materials
