Beaded Purse

Beaded pouch worked in glass beads across both faces, combining a pictorial landscape composition with decorative floral ornamentation. The upper edges of the purse are ornamented with large circular motifs embroidered in small turquoise blue beads, repeated at the base of the purse. The upper section is fitted with two attached burgundy ribbons serving as a drawstring closure.

The upper half of the principal face depicts a pastoral countryside scene featuring small cottages of white and blue-toned colours set beside a river, surrounded by dense green forest and rolling blue hills. In the foreground, an elderly man and a cow rest beside the shoreline, the scene framed by grassy banks and tall trees. The lower part of the purse transitions into rich burgundy background decorated with floral motifs in blue, yellow, white, turquoise, and green.
