Tortoiseshell snuffbox embellished with a miniature portrait of Élisabeth-Charlotte HUGUET de SEMONVILLE, Comtesse d'Estrades, facing right in low-cut blue silk dress with off the shoulder white sleeves, fichu pinned at corsage with pink roses and a blue ribbon in her powdered curling hair, all on a blue background with tiny roses. Miniature is surrounded with a gold frame, and the entire box is engraved with a guilloché border.Materials
