Description
Hairstyle and Victorian costume with jewelry and brooches that adorn the neck and forearm closure. From the neck opens a high-waisted dress whose sleeves end in the forearm, with frills, to three quarters in a fabric that lightens the overall structure of the suit. The torso of the dress has a juxtaposition of ribbons separated from each other by another fabric and whose termination is V-shaped at waist height. For the year 1860, Queen Victoria was photographed by J.J. E. Mayall, where it is possible to appreciate the style of the dress and the similarities than that one with the dignitary keeps on the style of the dress of the portrayed woman.
