This engraving depicts two women wearing the same dress in different colours, in order to show the front and back as well as the array of changes possible.
It is an evening dress, made out of gauze and adorned with "Blonde" lace. The heart-shaped neckline falls low on the shoulders and is made wider by the very puffy sleeves underneath, while the skirt is slightly above ankle-length. Bows on each sleeve and above the hemline's Blonde lace add even more decoration to the dress.
The outfit is accessorized with a real "paradise" bird in the hair, white gloves, as well as a handkerchief and fan.
