Description
Madame Charles Reybaud, also known as Henriette Étiennette Fanny Reybaud, was born in Arnaud, France, on December 13, 1802 and died at the age of 67 on November 25, 1870 in Nice. She wrote more than 31 novels, some of them well known as "Les Épaves" in which the liberal ideals of the time and their struggle for the emancipation of slavery are present. To this are added more than 20 stories and a poem that at least are known published.In lithography she appears as woman dressed in a suit whose neck, lapel and décolletage are in V. Neck and lapel adorned in a white fabric with lace. The waist is v-shaped and the sleeves are long and tight. Collar is in Richelieu embroidery lace, and hairstyle decorations in handmade Chantilly bobbin lace.
