Description
Watercolour and gouache painting of an young noble man, known as Wilhelm VON TAUBENHEIM, count of Taubenheim (German, Stuttgart April 16 1805 - January 1894), son of Auguste count of Taubenheim and Caroline de Bawr, married to countess Marie DE WURTEMBERG (1822 - 1866) September 17 1842. The gentleman is represented outside, in the forest with a lake on the background, probably lake Titisee in the southern Black Forest in Baden-Württemberg and Titisee-Neustadt town, wearing a top hat, a grey suit with a coat with probably fox fur collar, a white shirt and a black tie.Materials
