Description
Raspberry silk ball gown trimmed with the hand made imitated of Brussels lace and smoke color silk muslin. The lace is imitated by chain stitching on tulle or using crocheted lace. It is worth paying attention to the fact that the embroidery itself is located on the dress, as if covered with tulle, that is, on the reverse side. The embroidery relief is adjacent to the dress, and the reverse side comes out to the surface, very practical and creates a bobbin lace effect.
From the ex-wardrobe of the Baroness de CAIX DE CHAULIEU.
