Description
Rectangular patchbox in silver and mother of pearl inlayed with silver details, decorated with a siver engraving on the top representing a fantasy scene with a castle, two flying birds, probably pigeons, all in floral frame. The decoration is probably inspired by Chinesse art. The sides are also engraved with floral tinsels as the bottom of the box. Inside inlaid with silver foil and contained in the past a mercury mirror.
