Description
Silver-plated tripod posy holder with a tulip-shaped basket entirely made up of silver filigree with flowers on the sides and on the bottom. The floral pin and decorated finger ring are attached to the bottom of the basket. The three legs are leaf-shaped, coming to a point at the bottom with floral filigree design. Small hexagon ring on the top of the legs can slip down to keep the legs closed.

Standing posy holders are one of the most desirable of this charming fashion accessory. It has been stated that they could be used by a bride to hold their posy of flowers during the ceremony but at a reception, this could be opened up to stand on the bridal table to add a decorative accent next to the wedding cake. Posy holders are also referred to as a tussie mussie, bouquet holder or porte bouquet.
