Description
Brooch representing a bouquet of four flowers decorated with damascene style pattern and a round pearl bead in the center of each flower. (The Damascene style work was developed in high art by the artisans of Damascus, Syria, more than 2,000 years ago). Its intricate designs are composed of precious gold and silver embedded into brass and made by hand. Such type of jewellery is typical of the work of Toledo in Spain.
