Description
Fan with leaf made of paper and 20 ivory sticks with openwork vegetal pattern and silver inserts. The leaf is a print, engraved and hand painted with watercolour, representing a scene of a garden party, with men and women fashionably dressed, having conversations, eating fruits, and drinking wine. The scene is separated on three groups of two women and one man in each. Stylized floral and vegetal gold motif is framing the front side. On the back the fan is lined with dark navy colour silk with golden pattern. The handle is decorated with mother of pearl on the bottom.Materials
