Description
Watercolour fashion plate n° 347 from the "Le Magasin des Familles", represents women's costume according to fashion trends in the late 1840s.Engraving depicts two women outside. The lady on the left is wearing a green dress, probably in brocade with floral pattern, and a brown cape coat with large sleeves and black detailing. Her hair is adorned with the same brown colour bonnet with yellow flowers. The woman on the right is wearing a beige dress, with blue coat and white bonnet. Both coats come from the House of Couchonnal.
