Family photograph representing Catherine (1917-2008) and Jacqueline (1908-) DIOR outside. On the rigt of the picture is Jacqueline and on the left Catherine.

Ginette DIOR known as Catherine DIOR was a French resistance fighter during the Second World War. She integrates the Franco-Polish network F2, specializing in intelligence on German armies armaments and movements. She will be deported on July 6, 1944 in the Ravensbrück concentration camp for women. Fortunately, she will come out alive at the end of the war.

This photograph is part of a batch and comes from the family archives of Jacqueline DIOR (Sister of Christian DIOR).  The lot was bought at an auction by Christophe Dubois Rubio and later donated to the Vasiliev Foundation.
