The illustration depicts a young woman standing in front of a man dressed in military uniform. The woman is wearing a pair of wide trousers with a yellow waistcoat with Art Deco geometric ornament on the pockets, a pale yellow sleeveless shirt, matching hair bandana and sandals. Jane REGNY was the pseudonym of the French fashion designer Jeanne BALOUZET TILLARD de TIGNY. She and her husband launched the House of Jane Régny, which was active during the 1920s and 1930s and specialised in fashionable sports clothing.
On the back a page with an advertising for Graudé nail salon, and the beginning of a narrative story "Le martyre de l'obèse à Carlsbad".
